Born and raised in East Tennessee, Cameron Buckner has always been driven by a deep respect for justice and a commitment to protecting the rights of Tennesseans. After earning his undergraduate degree from Lincoln Memorial University with aspirations of serving in law enforcement, he began his career with the Knox County Sheriff's Office. But it didn’t take long for Cameron to realize his true calling wasn’t in writing reports — it was in the courtroom, fighting for justice where it matters most.
He went on to earn his J.D. from Lincoln Memorial University's Duncan School of Law and quickly made his mark as a prosecutor in Tennessee’s Third Judicial District. As a DUI and Vehicular Crimes prosecutor, Cameron handled everything from first-time DUI cases to complex vehicular homicide prosecutions. He earned a reputation for being fearless in court, sharp with the law, and relentless in pursuit of the truth.
Eventually, Cameron made the move to criminal defense in 2023, where he could use his prosecutorial experience to protect the rights of individuals facing the power and prosecution of the state. Before joining Andrew C. Beasley, PLLC in early 2025, Cameron refined his defense skills at one of Knoxville’s top criminal defense firms, building a reputation as a strategic and formidable advocate.
Now based in the Nashville area with his wife and dog, Cameron brings that same intensity, discipline, and courtroom firepower to defending clients accused of crimes through the legal system. His career has come full circle — not just seeking justice, but delivering it, one case at a time.
